On Wednesday 11th July The Speakers' Corner comes to you from our BRAND NEW VENUE at the Tap & Spile. In celebration of our new home we are delighted to welcome one of the finest young poets on the performance circuit as our special guest.

Tristram Fane Saunders is 19. He enjoys jogging, and makes a mean ratatouille. He has read his poems at people in a number of places, including pubs, bookshops, music festivals (recently Latitude Festival and Dalston's Land of Kings), cabaret shows, house parties and one municipal cemetery. Tristram currently studies English at Cambridge University. His first pamphlet of poems will be published by Nasty Little Press this summer. It will cost £2, and is exactly what your Nan would like for Christmas.

The Speakers' Corner first encountered Tristram's superb poetry at last year's Malton Literature Festival and are delighted to welcome him as our first guest at the Tap & Spile. Please come along and give our new venue your support!
